Angels of Hope: Collaborative Grants and Fellowships
HSK understands that pooling resources and forming strong collaborative efforts will speed progress and help promote scientific discovery necessary. Throughout its history, HSK has joined in partnership with individuals, corporations, and foundations who have generously pledged their support in sponsorship of a pediatric cancer research grant or fellowship. I Care I Cure Foundation Inaugural Targeted Therapy Awards
New York University Langone Medical Center in New York for a 1st year research study on targeted approaches for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).- Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Ohio for a 1st year research study on new therapeutic options for Acute Leukemia.

- University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center for a 2nd year research study on Pharmacological and Genetic Blockade of HES1 in Osteosarcoma Suppresses Invasiveness and Metastasis in vitro and in vivo
- University of Michigan for a 2nd year research study on Novel Acetylation Sensitive Anti-tumor Mechanism in Pediatric Solid Tumors
- Vanderbilt University Medical Center for a 2nd year research study on the Identification of Genes Cooperating with LMO2 in T-cell Leukemia
The Edward Sawyer Promise of Hope Award
A $50,000 grant for an annual promising HSK project.
The Sarah Howard Outstanding Young Investigator Award
An annual tribute by donors to the Howard's 11-year old daughter Sarah, who died of Ewing's Sarcoma in 1999 (to be awarded).
The National City and The Columbus Blue Jackets Pediatric Research Award
A $100,000 award presented to Drs. Kathryn Klopfenstein and Cynthia Gerhardt at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
The Columbus Blue Jackets Pediatric Research Award

A $35,000 award to Drs. Kenneth Cooke and David Zhou at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio.
The Alex Scott Visionary Fellowship Award
A $70,000 award to Drs. Peter Adamson and Jeffrey Skolnik at Children's Hospital Philadelphia.
The Scotts Pediatric Research Fellowship Award
To Drs. A. Thomas Look and Rodney A. Stewart at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Mass.
